VPN on first generation Amazon firestick?

IPVanish only works on second gen. Any recommendations pls? I don’t use it much, mainly for movies. Although Exodus has gone missing on Kodi presently! Fuck sake

I’ve got the Amazon fire tv (bought in 2015) but haven’t got Kodi installed. Is there an idiots guide to how I can it on there? (and is it worth it? Or shall I just preorder the 4K stick which is coming out in Nov for £50?)

If you and/or the family are used to the Fire Stick then I thoroughly recommend getting the 4K version. An all-round upgrade and so far it's coped with every Kodi or IPTV stream its been asked to handle. The voice remote is surprisingly useful. Well worth the seventy or eight quid I paid for it.
One thing though, you can't run it off the TV's USB port like the First Gen stick as it requires a higher current.
